Appearance: Starr is a tall, slim female. She has grey-blue eyes and blonde hair that reaches slightly past her shoulder blades at the longest point. Her normal uniform consists of short (and I mean really short) jean shorts, covered by red leather chaps with black boots under the chaps. On top, she wears a red leather halter top with black fringe on the bottom. On her wrists are black and red leather arm protectors with even more black fringe running along the bottom of her arm. To complete the look, she has a black belt where she carries her microphone and badge, along with a cowboy hat around her neck and hanging on her back, orange sunglasses, and two pom poms for dancing with.
Personality: Starr, as the head of the Divas, has a slightly fearless leader aspect to her personality. She doesn’t take crap from anyone, and is always pushing to succeed at everything she does. Failure is something she would rather not face, and feel as though she isn’t worth all the work and effort people put in to help her when she was younger. She knows that she’s not perfect, and she’s bound to fails something, sometime…like a mission. When that happens, she finds a way to review everything that happened, almost obsessively, to figure out just what went wrong, and when. Then, after finding the ‘flaw’ she’ll practice until she’s perfect. During this time though, she’s depressed, quiet, and not very outgoing, which makes it very obvious when this happens to her. She’ll normally be found in her room, reviewing the mission that didn’t go well, until one of the other Divas or Agents physically pulls her out of it.
She’s full of energy and somewhat of a firecracker (just ask J). Normally upbeat, the first signal that something’s wrong is when she seems slower than normal, and slightly out of it. She’s normally whistling or humming a happy tune, but this may change with the lack of beat in Manhattan.
She’s stubborn just enough to have it cause problems if she gets stuck on something and doesn’t want to back down for any reason, even if she’s wrong. In Manhattan, she will be slightly ‘off’ because she won’t be able to hear the ‘Music’ as much as she normally does back in her world, and this worries her.
Abilities: While Starr is a ‘normal’ human, and has the normal ‘human’ abilities, she was picked to join the Divas because of her ability to sense the Music in life. Each person/animal/living object has it’s own tune, or beat, and when all the beats are heard together, a sort of ‘music of life’ is formed. Starr has the ability to hear this music a bit easier than others, and can use this ability to help someone who needs assistance. She can hear when someone’s inner beat is off, which signals that something is wrong, and can encourage the person back into the correct beat, in a way. In Manhattan, it will be slightly harder for her to tap into the Music, because the city has lost the natural beat, and things have become muted for her ears.
On top of that Starr is a great dancer, which is an ability she uses a lot in order to help people become in tune with the Music again. And since she is the leader of the Divas, she has to have some leadership skills, no? While sometimes she can lose her cool, most of the time she’s able to think things through, especially in a crunch.

But, you ask Starr about what she can tell you, and she’ll say she had a great life before and after joining the Elite Beat Divas. She had great family support growing up, and it was a tough decision to join the group. The support her family gave her still drives her to succeed as much as possible. She was part of the dance team at her high school and college, and part of her college money came from that.
Starr has done a lot of things during her time with the Divas, including helping an artist find his true love and paint a masterpiece at the same time, and quite possibly helping the cutest little girl find her father again, even if it was just for Christmas. But nothing could have prepared her for when the Rhombulans came and attacked the Earth, threatening to silence the music forever by turning people playing music into stone.
Starr and the Divas showed up in order to encourage the people who had been put into detention centers to fight against the Rhombulans, and while they succeeded in getting the people to fight, something unfortunate happened. The Divas were turned to stone by the captors after getting the group of people they were helping out of the way.
But of course, this wasn’t the end for these three women. There was a young girl who was able to get everyone to believe in the Divas again, and they were able to break out of the stone prison they had been trapped in. After starting a musical riot, the Divas and surrounding people were able to destroy the Rhombulans, and the day was saved. The celebrations lasted for days, and things returned to normal…
Until one day, while heading towards a mission, Starr took a wrong turn, somehow, and ended up standing in a ruined city she hadn’t seen before.
